My name is Kylie Burton and I am the leader of Kylie’s Crew. If you are here, you may be on my 1st line, 2nd line, 5th line, 8th line or beyond (etc), and I am considered your “Crown Princess” (you will learn more about this title and the rank system soon)! No matter where you fall on my downline, our team is here for you! By joining our team, you have gained a sisterhood full of FUN, constant support, and encouragement.
I know that right now you may be feeling a little overwhelmed and possibly nervous! Starting a business can sometimes be a little scary, but this page is here to help walk you through getting started and the first steps to being a business owner!
Everything you will learn here are things that have been tested by successful people on our team. If you follow the steps below, join my Facebook group to watch for trainings and helpful posts, and put in some work, you will see success with SeneGence!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START

1. The most important thing to understand is our discount structure and how PV works. PV stands for Point Value and PV = Half the $ amount in retail. So 750 PV = $1500 worth of product. Depending on the level of PV you reach, you will receive anywhere from 20-50% OFF your order (the retail amount). Once you hit a certain discount level, you will receive that discount the rest of the month no matter what the size of your order is.
For example:
-If you reach 300 PV, you will be at the 40% discount level for that order AND for every order after that, even if you only order 12.5 PV (one color) 300 PV is also what “qualifies” you as a distributor! (For ranks, commission on your downline, and more.)
-(300 PV is 50% off in your first 30 days!) If you reach 750 PV, you will be at the 50% discount level for that order AND for every order after that! This is the greatest discount level.

2. As you get started you may see rank titles being talked about! Ranking means you are starting to build a team by signing up new distributors. As you rank, your commission grows, as well as incentives and rewards from the company. Check out this graphic to understand how to achieve the ranks. (Believe me, these are TOTALLY do-able if you’re wanting to grow a team!)
3. Schedule a launch demo, whether it be on Facebook or in-person with your sponsor, within your FIRST WEEK of signing up! This is going to start your business off on the right foot.
4. Start a Facebook group (and you may want to start a Facebook page as well but groups are better for interaction and posting when first starting out.) Your group/business name cannot contain SeneGence or LipSense in the title, and you want to choose something unique to YOU that can grow with you as your business grows!
5. We cannot purchase any products from other distributors, but you may trade. Always check with your sponsor, and other uplines FIRST before going to FB. Talk to your customers about similar colors that are in stock before asking for a trade with someone. Usually they’re ok with trying something else!
6. The most we can offer as a discount to customers is 15%. Sometimes you can word your sales differently so it sounds better (like buy one get one 25% off-which would still be less than 15% of the total price.) People usually LOVE sales like “Free Shipping” or “No tax”! Just don’t feel like you HAVE to do discounts or sales often, because your customers will wait around for them if they’re frequent!
7. You are welcome to join my Facebook group “Kylie’s Kissables” to check out my pinned post, albums, games, etc, to get some ideas. You can also use any of my topics or verbiage that I share, just make sure to add your own captions and personal touch! Make your own graphic to go along with it. I use the app Word Swag for my graphics.
8. You can search for most topics using the magnifying glass at the top of my team page. Most of your questions have probably been answered at some point!
RESOURCES AND SUPPLIES
When you’re first getting started, you may be overwhelmed with the shipping process, invoicing process, and so on. Ask your sponsor how they do things and what they use if you want more details, but below I have included links to my shipping supplies, (i.e. packaging, business materials such as business cards and tips and tricks,) as well as instructions for how to print shipping labels from home!
If you check out the new distributor packet that is downloadable above or on the team facebook group, it has lots of info on getting started! i.e. Supplies needed, and ideas about social media and events, parties, etc. I highly suggest looking at the video album on my Facebook group and watching as many of my trainings as you can! I try to plan my trainings according to what I know will help you. Whether you are just starting, in a rut and needing new ideas, or a leader yourself and want to tag your team in helpful things! Here is what I do myself!

-SeneGraphics (This is a private group so ask your sponsor or uplines to be added. It is super helpful when you’re first getting started! Be sure to take ideas but make your own graphics when possible.)
-Candis’s Lip Pics –DISTRIBUTOR GROUP (This group has AMAZING lip pictures of all the colors and gloss to put in an album on your group page.)
-Sadie’s Ladies (Sadie is one of our uplines who does regular trainings that are AMAZING and MOTIVATIONAL. Join her page.)
-Siara’s Pics and StuffSiara is a distributor who takes awesome photos of the products for us to use. You must leave her watermark on though! So feel free to take your own photos!)
MY ADVICE FOR YOU
When I started this business, I wasn’t planning on it becoming anything really. I just wanted the discount on awesome makeup and thought it might be nice to make some extra money here and there. However, I quickly saw the benefit of building a team and sharing the products and because of the passion I felt early on to help others see the benefit as well, I changed my plan. Because of that, I now have a team of over 600 girls and growing! Not a day goes by that I don’t feel blessed and honored to be in the position I am. I am SO THANKFUL for my team and hope you feel the love as you start your own journey. Something I get asked often is what my biggest piece of advice may be that has helped me have success. I have LOTS of advice to give that I’m sure you’ll hear about on my page but narrowing it down:
1-Reach out to EVERYONE and let them know what you’re doing and the opportunity available to them. You don’t have to be salesy. It is a little scary but be honest and REAL and it’ll pay off! If you show your love of the products or genuinely tell them about the opportunity, they’ll be intrigued.
2-Be CONSISTENT on your social media platforms or however you run your business. If you have a busy day, make sure you still get a post in! Make sure you’re following up with your customers and keeping a consistent system when it comes to packaging and branding, etc.
3-Be ORGANIZED right from the beginning. Have an order tracking system, start time blocking, and find an app to track expenses.
